Briefing news , Secretary General and the National Director of Publicity of the Coalition, Comrade Eric Oluwole and Mr. Emmanuel Zopmal, respectively, who disclosed this during a solidarity visit to the National President, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro, said the town hall meeting had become imperative following cases of mistrust, antagonism and crisis of confidence among different ethnic groups, which has continued to retard the development of the nation.

“Nigeria is treading on a dangerous path. As stakeholders who have the interest of country at heart, we are moved to ensure that the people of Nigeria speak with one accord in their quest to have a united and prosperous country in which all ethnic nationalities will be satisfied. We insist that the spirit of one Nigeria is what is needed most at this point in our nation’s history. We have concluded plans to host an Ethnic Nationality town hall meeting. The details will soon be made public,” they said.

The coalition used the occasion to commiserate with the Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council, over the invasion of its secretariat in Enugu by hoodlums and commended its National President, Mazi Okechukwu Isiguzoro over his ability to build bridges with other ethnic nationality youth groups across the federation.

Responding, Isiguzoro expressed gratitude to the delegation and noted that the visit has encouraged Ohanaeze Youth Council to continue to build bridges of unity across Nigeria.

He assured that no amount of campaign of calumny will distract the Coalition from being part of the process of building a better Nigeria for all.
