An Enugu Chief Magistrate court Wednesday issued fresh warrant of arrest of Enugu state chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Mr. Louis Ngozika Dilibe for alleged burglary, stealing and malicious damage.

The Chief Magistrate, J. L C Okibe gave the order against Delibe for jumping police bail.

The state police criminal investigation department had on Monday last week arrested Mr. Delibe following petition from one of the tenants of Enugu NUJ against Delibe for allegedly breaking into his office and carting away, money and destroying machines.

Recalled the same NUJ scribe is standing trial in another case of assault and threat to life of one journalist before the same court.

Mr. Delibe had earlier failed to appear in court to take plea in charge No. MEN/07c/2016 proffered against him even when he signed and collected arraignment notice.

The court has adjourned to Monday 15th, Thursday 18th and Thursday 25 of February, 2016 for trial in charge No. MEN/07c/2016.
