The long talked about decampment of the speaker of the house of representative, Malam Tambuwal which became a reality yesterday following official announcement by the Speaker of his decampment out of the PDP into the APC, according to information made available to 247ureports.com, had unsettled, and left the presidency in shock over the lukewarm reaction of the members of the house of representatives. The legislators were expected to immediately denounce the announcement in a quarrelsome manner to show solid allegiance to the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] and to the presidency.
According to a competent source who spoke of the unfolding intrigues within the national assembly, the members of the House of Representatives – following the end of plenary session yesterday, discovered new information about other members of the House of Representatives who have already joined the All Progressive Congress [APC] in principle – but are yet to announce it. It was gathered the members will likely make their announcement to the public soon.

According to an aide of a principal officer in the legislative chamber, the PDP may not be able to gather up two thirds of the lawmakers at the lower chamber of the national assembly to remove the Speaker from the top seat – once the members announce their decampment.
