Tension is mounting at the collation centre in Bauchi over plot by some forces to suppress the results of Tafawa Balewa LGA results where the PDP won both the governorship and the State House of Assembly elections convincingly.
In the LGA, PDP polled 40,010 and APC 29,862 in the governorship. The results are fully signed by the LGA INEC Returning Officer and the agents of the political parties including the PDP and the APC.
But the State Returning Officer apparently working in cahoots with the Bauchi State governor is looking for an excuse not to collate the result in which the PDPcandidate has over 10,000 marginal lead over the APC.
The LGA is a stronghold of the PDP in the state.
