Killings: Religious Group Preaches Love, Discourage Fierce Competition Among Nigerians

The Rosicrucian Order, also known as the Ancient Mystical Order Rosae Crucis (AMORC) has called on all Nigerians to embrace love and cooperate with one another in order to end the killings of going on all over the country.
The group who also discouraged what they terms as on going firece competition among the people of the country, said competition isfueling more crisis thereby dehumanizing human lives.
Secretary/Treasurer, National Board, AMORC, Nigeria, Johnson Ikube who spoke to our correspondent after a three day conference of AMORC Northern Regional Rotational Conclave tagged “Makurdi 2018,” said love among all Nigerians will enable all know and fullfill God’s purpose of bringing them together.
Ikube said all of men, irrespective of religion or ethnicity, are from God and God does not discriminate whether the good, the bad or the ugly.
“Whether, rich, poor, young, old farmer, herdsman or armed robber, they are all children of God but they are just using their God given talents differently to cause disharmony instead of working together for the benefit of everybody.
“That is why we chose the topic to let us know that God created us in his image and only he can kill body and soul,” he said.
He advised Nigerians to be focused saying “Some people believe in war but war cannot give us what we want, it can only bring ruins”.
Ikube said the country is facing a lot of challenges because of constant killings and dehumanise treatment people inflict on others adding that life in the country is becoming valueless.
He said all humans were equal before God and He created them to live together and fulfil their purpose of creation noting that those who kill must understand that there is part of human being which cannot be killed.
Speaking on the topic of this year’s Conclave, “The Souls Immortality and Universal Love”, Ikube saud it was chosen to tell the people that ‘killing is not a solution to problems and to also say that we have an immortal self which cannot die but can only be killed by God.
“There are a lot of challenges in Nigeria today, alot of killings. People dehumanise human beings, life seems to have no value again in the eyes of the people, any little thing they kill.
“But the question is why should people opt for killing as solution to their problems. It is clear that those who resort to killing when they have problems do not have proper understanding of the nature of human beings and the purpose God created them.
He therefore said the Rosicrucian mission is handy to teach and enable people to find themselves, turn their lives around and influence the universe positively.
