A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, Chief Victor Omenihu has testified that Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has done well in addressing infrastructural decay in Aba and other parts of the state.
Omenihu who stated this in a chat with newsmen in Aba, stressed that with the governor’s performance in his one year in office, he has raised the bar of governance in the state and urged him to keep up the great job.
According to him, Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has shown great vision in rewriting the story of Abia. In his eight months in office, he has transformed Abia State, especially Aba, the economic hub of the state, within this short period.
“His good works are glaring for everybody to see. The massive construction of roads and building of bridges across the three senatorial zones of the state, infrastructural renewal of Aba with more durable roads through the cement pavement technology, upgrading of markets, establishment of industrial clusters and other people oriented policies, among others, has stood the governor out as a man with a burning desire to impact positively on the life of the people.
“If he can record these achievements within a year, imagine the level of transformation this state will attain in the next six months?”
The PDP chieftain enjoined the people of the state to continue to support the governor to take Abia to greater heights.
