No fewer than four persons have been confirmed dead in an auto crash that occurred in the early hours Sunday at Abia along 9th mile-Udi-Oji River Awka road in Udi local Government Area of Enugu state.
The auto crash which involved a water tanker vehicle with registration number ENU 211 XY and a Galaxy Sharon mini bus with registration number LFA 375 XA coming from opposite direction of the road had head collusion killing four person instantly dead including a little girl and living four other seriously injured.
Police has confirmed the incident stating that the injured have been taken to hospital for medical attention by the combined team of the Traffic police men, Road safety and villagers amongst others.
According to the police public relations officer, Dsp Ebere Amaraizu the four deceased bodies have deposited at Our Saviour Hospital 9thmile corner Ngwo and Victoria Hospital Udi for necessary action.
The cause of the accident is not yet known as investigations have commenced in full scale, the PPRO said.
