The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Alhaji Musa Bello, has said that the current administration will apply the law on whoever involved on the allegation of land grab in the city.

He said: “You know the beauty of Abuja as a city is that it is the only city in Nigeria that is a creation of law and of course we have been appointed to uphold the law. So, on the issues like this, is just to look at what the law has said and then of course we apply the law appropriately because obviously we are government that cares for law and order.

“Basically the whole issue of law is to have what we call equity and justice and usually once you say justice and equity you found that everybody under the law is equal and usually the law is supposed to protect people,to protect the lowly people, the middle level. people, the highly placed people man or woman that is what law is all about and we are here to apply the law.”

Commenting on the forthcoming Area council election, the minister said: “all our party members at all levels, starting from the ward level have keyed into the campaign and have commence campaign and I have briefed the national chairman of the party of how far we have gone and naturally as a political party, of course we expect to win all the area council.”
