Prior to this, there have been public demands for the President to make public how much has been recovered into the Federal Government coffers.

Others also push for the need for Buhari to publish names of those who looted the treasury but the President insisted such decision would be taken when due.

The seemingly controversial issue has lasted months with expectations from the public the list would be published.

However, the provocative lawmaker broke the jinx during channels TV programme stressing that the huge sum had been returned to the government.

“As I speak to you, N8b has been refunded back to the treasury of government and I know more monies will be refunded.”

It is expected that despite this revelation, Buhari would fulfill his promise by authorizing the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) to publish the so much anticipated list.
