Governor Okorocha said that he contested for the governorship position in 2011 to liberate Imo indigenes from poverty and bondage; adding that his administration has transformed the state with massive infrastructural development.

He assured them the determination of his administration to eradicate poverty in the state through massive industrialization despite the critics by the opposition parties.

The state governor assured his willingness to partner with them especially on the area of industrialization which aimed at transforming the state to a mini-China.

In his speech, the chairman of PFN, Bishop Maxwell C. Korie said that the purpose of the debate is to enable members of the PFN to know the programmes and projects of all the gubernatorial candidates in the state and as well to pray for them.

Bishop Korie described Okorocha as a true Christian who has fear of God and made him to understand that PFN is not against his political ambition but is willing to partner with his administration.

He recalled the role PFN played in 2011 gubernatorial election and urged him to consider PFN members in his appointment if being re-elected.
