The aspiration of Sen. Hope Uzodinma representing Imo West senatorial zone to make a second term to the senate in 2015 has received a boost following his endorsement by the traditional rulers from the zone.
Sorry, there are no polls available at the moment.In a well- attended ceremony held at Orlu which was organized to officially commission the ultra-modern secretariat built by the senator for Orlu Zone Council of Traditional Rulers as part of his numerous constituency projects, the monarchs under the chairmanship HRM Eze Emmanuel Okeke stated that Uzodinma who is also the PDP senatorial candidate for Imo West in the 2015 general elections deserves another term having bequeathed quality representation to the people of the zone.
HEze Okeke added that Uzodinma who is the senate committee chairman on Aviation has rewritten the history of Orlu zone as regards to its representation in the National Assembly by delivering effective, vocal and selfless representation as well as attracting quality and people-oriented projects which have impacted positively on lives of the people since 2011 he was elected a senator representing the zone.
The monarchs who described Uzodinma as a true philanthropist, man of the people and big asset to Orlu zone Imo state, however, urged the people to support the senator to enable him empower more people and attract more quality and essential projects for the people in the next four years.
While expressing gratitude to the traditional rulers and Orlu people for their unflinching support and endorsement for second term, Uzodinma promised not to relent in his commitment to give quality representation to the people of Orlu zone and vowed not to disappoint them.
The senator also used the occasion to deliver his Christmas message and gift items to the entire traditional rulers from the zone.
Speaking at the occasion, Director-General, Hope Uzodinma Campaign Organization, Barr. Rex Anunobi, hailed Orlu Zone Council of Traditional Rulers for their unanimous endorsement of Uzodinma to return to the national assembly as the senator representing the zone in 2015.
Anunobi explained that Uzodinma remains the best for the job having demonstrated unequal capacity to attract projects, empower the people as well as raised a very strong voice for the people of Orlu zone since 2011.
