The peaceful Protest embarked by pro-Al-Makura women turned near violent today as security agents refused the demonstrating women access to the Assembly complex.

The protest in support of Governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura turned rowdy as a result of the refusal of security operatives and private guard to allow the women entrance into the Assembly. 247ureports.com gathered that the security officers were acting based on directive not to allow the protesting women into the complex. It was not clear who gave the directive.

Despite the intervention of two members of the Assembly, Tanko Tunga representing Awe North and Othman Adam representing Keffi west the security turn deaf ears. This caused the women and few other APC thugs to break into the complex in the presence of security agent.
