The acting Chief Judge’s term in office is said to expire on the night of July 6, 2014 – implying that the 7 member panel set up to examine the impeachment grounds may not be able to be sworn-in by the acting Judge whose tenure would have expired before Monday July 7, 2014. Sources within Yola point to a possible declaration by Nyako tomorrow – stating that Tuesday and Wednesday would be public holidays. The declaration is expected to buy him time to appoint a more friendly chief Judge.
