A Pressure group, the Northern Youths Leaders Forum, (NYLF), has charged President Goodluck Jonathan to give all service chiefs two weeks ultimatum to rescue the abducted Chibok secondary school girls and sack them from office.

The group also called on President Jonathan to step up action in resolving the insurgency rocking the nation before the country is routed by the terrorists.

National Chairman of the forum, Eliot Afiyo, who made the demand during an interview with newsmen in Yola, Adamawa state maintained that the loss of precious lives to  insurgency in the north was becoming alarming, hence the need for President Jonathan to issue the ultimatum.

The forum also condemned the two bomb blasts in Nyanya, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

He said the escalation of the insurgency showed that the military had not made headway in tackling the security challenges in the north.

Afiyo also called on the President not to hesitate in declaring full state of  emergency in the three states mostly affected by insurgency in the event the current service chiefs failed to tackle the phenomenon and appoint sole administrators to run the states.

Afiyo said his group will support whatever measures President Jonathan applied to the challenge as long as it would lead ending the insurgency.
