Aba SkeletonPolice in Aba, Abia State are battling to unravel the mystery behind the discovery of two human skeletons at farm at Wilcox Memorial Comprehensive Secondary School along Ikot Ekpene road. Our correspondent gathered that the shocking discovery caused panic in the school, forcing the Principal to close the academic activities for the day. It was further gathered that skulls and traces of the victims’ genitals were missing when police came to evacuate the skeleton, raising suspicion that the victims could have been murdered for ritual purposes. A police source told 247ureports.com that female under wears and purse were found at the scene, adding that an autopsy would be carried out to determine the sexes and possible cause of death. “We are not going to say that they were killed by ritualists. They might have being shot by armed robbers while trying to escape. We can’t say anything until investigations are concluded.  We are working and will soon get to the root of the matter that led to the death of the two persons. When our correspondent visited the school, academic activities were ongoing, but a class teacher school who declined to have his name on print said students have been banned from entering the farm until police investigations are concluded. When contacted, Abia Police Public Relations Officer(PPRO) , ASP Geoffrey Ogbonna, promised to get back to our correspondent but never did as the time of filing this report.
