The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has declared Mr Emmanuel Aguariavwodo of the PDP winner of the 12 October Delta Central Senatorial District bye-election.
The result, which was announced Sunday morning revealed that Aguariavwodo had 263,024 votes, defeating eight other candidates.
Mr Otega Enerhor of the All Progressives Congress, APC, scored 29,075 votes to emerge second.
Mr Ede Dafinone of the Democratic People’s Party, DPP, followed with 29,055 votes.
