Dunukofia communities welcome Ngige’s Free Education

Communities in Dunukofia local government area of Anambra State has voted yes to the plan by Senator Chris Ngige, candidate of the APC in the November 16, 2013 gubernatorial elections.

 

A delegation of the six communities in the LGA conveyed their acceptance in a visit to Senator Ngige, currently representing Anambra Central Senatorial Zone.

If the programme can be realised, it will go a long way in lightening the burden of parents in the areas and free their funds to pursuer tother endeavours.

Leader of the group Chief Okeke Mbaneli from Umunnachi said the mission of the grou was to ask more questions on the proposed fre education and discuss the details with the candidate, sio tas to nvest their hope in the right direction.

‘His excellency wa sin our plac recently and we cofeered an award on him in Umudioka and tht was were he announce dto us that he will provide free education when he returns as governor’ Siad Mbaneli, adding that, ‘Ngige is not someone we can dount because he does whatever he promises. But we needed to know the details to know how to communicate it to our people’

Apparetly referring the the delay before they were ushered in too see the senator, Mabaneli said ‘ Our mission is very succeeful and when we talk to people bow t vote for Ngige is our LGA, we can do so with confidence, because he has been able to demonstrate to us how the programme will be realised.

A female member  of the delegation, Mrs Phoebi Mokwe advised mothers to vote massively for Ngige because in this long meeting we asked over 25 questions, since we were not sure how the free education program could be funded ,but he patiently answered one question after another’

She advised other candidate in the November gubernatorial race to base their campaign on what they will do for the people and not such things like ‘which money bag is sponsoring them or how they can run other down.

Ngige was recently conferred with the award of Ambassador of Excellence by thee the Dukukofia catholic community as Umudioka.
