Unity Bank Hail Customers For “good savings culture”

Unity Bank Nigeria has hailed their customers in the Asaba and Benin region for what it termed “a good savings culture”.
Zonal Head,South of Unity Bank Dac Chukwura made the commendation at the Unity Bank Save and Win Promo draws in Port Harcourt.
He said the Asaba and Benin branches of the Bank made about four billion naira during the duration of the promo exercise.
“Of a truth,more savings is actually from the Asaba and Benin region. Those people have a very good saving culture. Infact the total savings balance sheet from that area is about four billion naira compared to what you have here in Port Harcourt which is about one point something billion naira”, he said.
Also speaking, the promo zonal coordinator, Unity Bank save and win promo, Julius Elvis Nnaji, said the programme is designed to reward loyal customers and encourage others to continue in their patronage.
He said so far eight winners have emerged in different categories of the draw.
“This programme have been designed to reward loyal customers who have been banking with us for years. We want to give back to them and encourage them to continue banking with us and continue saving for the future. We are not saying thank you by word of mouth, we have prices that many of them have already won and are very happy. So far eight winners emerged and won fantastic prices”, he said
On her part, Unity Bank Unit head, Media and External Relation Port Harcourt region, Anita Wilcox said the bank also encourages and empowers petty traders through its banks schemes.
She urged petty traders to take advantage of the various schemes and excel in their trades while encouraging customers in port Harcourt to save more so as beat the Asaba and Benin region in the next save and win promo.
