Mr Peter Obi Schemes to rig election with Anambra State Teachers

The attention of concerned Anambra State Democrats has been drawn to security information from some of the teachers recruited by APGA and the Governor of Anambra State Mr Peter Obi to rig the forthcoming gubernatorial election in the state

Mr Peter Obi who openly boasted in Vanguard Newspaper publication dated 30^th of August 2013 that he will spring out surprises on Nov 16^th, 2013 during the Governorship Election in the state as his party APGA will sweep the pools, has secretly started recruiting secondary school teachers in the state that will be used as Ad-Hoc staff to corroborate with INEC to rig the election in the state. Some of these teachers have been promised promotion as Principals, Vice-Principals and juicy positions in the civil service in the state should they deliver and corroborate to rig the election in the state

Our sources confirmed that a smokescreen NUT meeting scheduled to hold by the middle of September at Port-Harcourt is to be used as an avenue to train the recruited teachers and instruct them on how to manipulate the result of the election to favour APGAs Peter Obi

This action by Mr peter Obi seriously sets a dangerous precedence in the state, as this will corrupt our teachers and the educational sector. It should be recalled that Mr Obi use this same antics to destroy the chastity of the religious institution in the state during the last election when he used state funds to stampede, bribe and encourage corruption in the churches. He has started again and this time, it will not work out for him

We the concerned democrats in the state seriously frowns at any attempt or calculated chain attempts aimed at fraudulently rigging the forthcoming election in the state in favour of a particular group or political party. Anambra State election must not only be free and fair but must be organised to ensure justice to the good people of Anambra State especially the electorates

We hereby call on the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Nigerian Police and the Directorate of Security Services to seriously investigate this privilege information to ensure that justice is done in Anambra State
