The member representing Kaura constituency of Kaduna State in the house of reps Hon Gideon Gwani has condemned in its totality the recent attack in the Attakar Village of Adu .(under his constituency)
On Monday 1st of Sept 2013 ,some unknown gun men Attacked and killed 8 people, including a family of 6 ,injuring several others at Adu -Attakar ,a Village in Kaura Local Government of Kaduna State.
Hon Gwani called from South Africa where he is attending an official function to express his supprise and displeasure that despite all the assurances made by security agencies to protect life and properties these incessant attacks is going unabated.
He said its about the third time an attack like this is happening in his constituency,his people are under siege for no reason at all ,he is calling on the Government to live up to its statutory duty of protecting the life and property of its people.As such he promised to re-table the matter at floor of the house on return to Abuja.
Meanwhile ,he sends his condolence to all the families of the bereaved,the chiefdom of Attakar and the entire people of Kaura Local Government.He says he is in grief with his people and would soon be with them ,by Gods grace.
To those suspected culprits caught by some patriotic youths,he promised to follow the matter to the later and ensure justice is done .He reiterates the fact that security matters should not be left in the hands of only the security agencies,meaning we should all be security conscious and always report strange people and strange happenings in our environment.
