Sacking Our Representative As Minister Will Not Pain Us – Gov. Sule Lamido

Governor Sule Lamido of Jigawa State has said that the government and
people of Jigawa state are not having any pained over the removal of
the minister of education from her position and he described that as
what happened to her as a destiny.

Lamido made the assertion during a warm reception organized by the
State government and the PDP office in honour of the former minister
of education Professor Ruqaiyat Rufa’i who was recently removed from
her position with other eight ministers in the Country.

Governor Lamido who described professor Rufai’ as true daughter of
the soil who have served the nation and the state very well during her
days as the minister of Education.

“We are very proud of what the minister had done during her sojourn in
that capacity and her name will be written in gold”
He said the struggle for the emancipation of the down trodden had just
begun and they are not going to relent in their efforts towards the
entrenchment of sound democratic ideals in the country.

Lamido said the current political development in the PDP is in tandem
with the principles of democracy where people have the right to voice
out their feelings on whatever is disturbing them without any
hindrance.

The governor said power belongs to God who gives and takes from
whoever he wishes and hand it over to the person he wish.

Every Muslims believed in destiny Nigerians and the people of Jigawa
are not pain with the decision so far made by the presidency .

In her remarks the former minister expressed delight over the
opportunity given to her to serve as minister.

She said with the little contribution she has made in the ministry
education had been given a boost.

The former minister described her successes to the strong backing she
got from home especially through her father governor Sule Lamido.

The governor has been instrumental towards my progress politically
beginning with my appointment as Commissioner of education to the
ministerial post.

She thanked all the PDP members who dare the Sun and weather the storm
to come and solidarised with her.

Many high profile politicians defied the rain to come and witnessed the
historic reception.
