Al Mustapha Arrives Kano Amidst Jubilation, Odudua, Arewa, Red Caps

Information reaching 247ureports.com indicates that the recently acquitted former aide to the late Sani Abacha, Al Mustapha – arrived at the Aminu Kano International in Kano at 12:05pm today.

According to the information gathered, Al Mustapha flew into the Kano International Airport on a chattered flight with flight number M-BETY – Bonier 328 UK jet. The flight was accompanied by three other flights. The three other flights were filled by members of Odudua Peoples Congress [OPC] including the top boss of the union – Mr. Fashuen. One of the chattered flights had flight number 5N-DAL.

At the international airport, the crowd was unprecedented. Virtually all the Kano elected officials were present to received Al Mustapha – including members of the house of representative, house of assembly, members of the Kwankwaso administration, local traditional monarchs and other business man. The red cap kwankwasiyya men were also present in high numbers.

Al Mustapha left the airport at about 1pm and is scheduled to visit his mother’s grave at Kofa Mazugal near Gwammaja inside Kano City. From his mother’s grave, he is scheduled to arrive at the Government house to meet with  the governor and other government officials.
